Plum Shug, mostly

Plum1
This is The Plum Shrug, a top down raglan design from The Garter Belt. This is what I have been working on for the past few days. I say mostly, because the sleeves are supposed to be in Arrowhead Lace, but after four attempts I could not "get it." So my sleeves are in a diagonal eyelet lace I found on About.com. The yarn is Luna, a cotton/rayon blend from Elann in Purple Heart.

I still don’t have the yarn to finish the first bolero, and I have not worked on my red sock. I did start the Trekking 100 sock, and have almost finished the 1×1 ribbing at the top. I will do the rest in 3×1 ribbing. I also spent an hour or two at Main Street Yarn and Fibers in Watkinsville, GA, where I again bought nothing, even with my gift certificate. I did enjoy seeing and petting all the yarn, and eating cookies.
