Little River Canyon Trek

Well, the Trekking 100 socks are finished, so DH and I took them to Little River Canyon for a photo shoot. We drove in a large circle all around the rim of the canyon to get there and back home. He did OK despite his protests of  "I can’t believe I’m doing this."   I said it looked as if he was threatening to drop the socks. Actually, he made sure he had a tight grip. Can’t have the sockies falling that far down, since it is over  1,000 feet.

What there is of the river in the dry weather is shown in the background below here. This shot is from the Canyon View Overlook.  The red mark shows "You are here."

I liked the picture below because the rusty color in the rocks was picked up by the socks.
