Autumn Leaves

The theme of today's walk was apparently glowing red leaves. I spotted the oak tree on my way back home and had to go back to it.

Then I saw the sweetgum

Even Bradford Pear looks pretty

I just wanted a photo of mimosa seed pods because they looked so weird. A cool wind was blowing and all the seed pod rattled.

Now I plan to knit. I also picked three baskets of apples and made applesauce and cranberry orange waffles.

  1. I love sweet gum trees – but I love the sugar maples even more! I don't have any down here, so it is all about the Platonic Ideal of a Sugar Maple these past few falls.
