Miscellaneous Stuff

I am still working on the sock a little.
At least I finished the ribbing and started the pattern. Mini Mochi in Tapsstry Rainbow, Crystal Palace Eye Sock pattern. You can see the gold thick part that showed up after the knot.

  1. We had pecan trees when I was growing up in Texas. Looking at those bags of pecans brings back memories of cracking nuts for pies — marathon sessions and really sore hands.

  2. I’ve been eyeing up the Mini Mochi yarn through The Loopy Ewe, an online sock yarn shop. It looks very warm and snuggly.
Thank you for posting spring flowers – we just got dumped on last night with 4 more inches of heavy, wet snow – uhg.
I see lots of pecan pies……
Do you freeze the pecans for your own use, or sell them?
