Hope everyone who celebrates (and everyone else) is having a great day. I spent Wednesday making apple pecan dressing with my sourdough bread, and sweet potatoes with maple syrup and pecans. Both Cooking Light recipes. We also had DH's grandmother's cranberry grapefruit congealed salad. I had apple cider glazed turkey breast yesterday, so I stuck with apple cider glazed grilled pork tenderloin today. I looked at a pie recipe yesterday, then thought about it for a while. This morning I decided to make Paula Deen's chocolate pee-can pie. Nobody around here pronounces it the way Paula and I do. I am from Georgia too. I did not have bourbon, dark corn syrup or semi-sweet chocolate. It tasted fine with vanilla, light corn syrup and bittersweet chocolate, however.
